As specialists in the senior portrait industry, Mark & I are members of an incredible group of artists from around the world, called Senior Portrait Artists… or “spa.”

Each year, spa puts on an amazing event in which hundreds of the best senior portrait studios gather together to network and learn, keeping on the cutting edge of senior photography.

This year’s event is in San Diego at the Del Coronado Hotel. How awesome is that??

One of the unique things about spa is that each studio that attends is eligible to enter their high school senior clients to win a trip to be a model at the event.

So, how is the school year going? We hope everyone is off to a great start!

Speaking of fabulous… here is an image of Stephanie Pellegrino, from Bartlett H.S. She and her twin brother, Mike, came in for their sessions (different days of course!) and we had a great time. I love this hand-tinted image of Stephanie.

We really enjoyed our time with Nicollette during her session. She was up for anything and really liked dramatic imagery. We had fun playing with light and experimenting with some different techniques we’ve learned.
