Besides a busy senior portrait fashion show weekend, we also had a lot of excitement (and tears!) when our oldest daughter, Skye, made her First Holy Communion this past Saturday. Mark created a lot of incredible images inside the church, as well as some gorgoeus studio portraits. Here is one of our favorites. I can’t wait until our canvas wall portrait of this image is framed and ready to hang in our home. I’m so excited!!!

Often in this blog, I mention “sneak peaks” and show one or two images from senior portrait sessions and whatnot. Well, yesterday, we had our very own sneak peak at Bartlett High School’s musical production of “Beauty and the Beast.” The leads from the show all came by the studio for a photo shoot for a promotional poster we’re designing. It was so fun to see such elaborate costumes up close. The cast did phenomenally, getting into character and putting on little scenes for us.

The poster turned out soooo cool! I won’t give a preview of it - you’ll have to go see the show (or be a student at BHS) for that! haha… But I will show you one of the more colorful shots…the three “silly girls” from the town, who totally swoon over Gaston, the brute who wants to marry Belle… and also one of Lumiere and Babette…

Definitely go see the performance! We’ve got tickets for Sunday and cannot wait!!! The show runs Wednesday - Sunday of this week. If you don’t already have tickets, there is still seating available, but call soon! 630-837-8817.
