One of the best things about summer is, it’s senior portrait season! One of my favorite times of year! Lucky for the class of 2011 seniors, we have nice weather until October! We have been booked back to back just about every day and are loving every minute of it!

Here is a recent picture of Emma DeJure. She was so lively and fun to photograph. She came to our studio with lots of great ideas. It was awesome to collaborate with her, creatively, and really made her session unique.

During our brief get-together with Erika prior to her photo shoot, her mom & I realized we worked together one summer during college! A combined five daughters and two husbands later, we got to catch up a little. It’s also at our consultations that we get to know more about each person we photograph.

Erika is a very strong and courageous young person, having survived open heart surgery as a 14-year old. So it was with such exhuberance that we celebrated her life and vibrancy during her session. Here is just one image we created. What a great smile! Thanks for sharing your day with us, Erika. You are an inspiration!

We had such a great day with Haley Voss during her senior portrait session! Not only was she a natural behind the camera, but she brought a ton of cute outfits, too!

Toward the end of her session, we went to her house and played and experimented with a few new techniques. Here’s a fun image of her jumping on the trampoline!

Anna is one of our beautiful and talented St. Charles East H.S. Spokesmodels. We had a great time with her and the other girls during the model shoot. Can’t wait for her upcoming session next month to kick off the senior portrait season for the Class of 2011!
