As specialists in the senior portrait industry, Mark & I are members of an incredible group of artists from around the world, called Senior Portrait Artists… or “spa.”

Each year, spa puts on an amazing event in which hundreds of the best senior portrait studios gather together to network and learn, keeping on the cutting edge of senior photography.

This year’s event is in San Diego at the Del Coronado Hotel. How awesome is that??

One of the unique things about spa is that each studio that attends is eligible to enter their high school senior clients to win a trip to be a model at the event.

We entered two of our Spokesmodels this year… Shannon Averill from South Elgin High School, and Loreli Patschke from Lake Park High School.

We had a blast during their sessions and are very proud of both of them. Both Shannon and Loreli are both finalists in the spa event. Congratulations! Even though they didn’t win the competition, they are winners in our eyes.
