So, how is the school year going? We hope everyone is off to a great start!

Speaking of fabulous… here is an image of Stephanie Pellegrino, from Bartlett H.S. She and her twin brother, Mike, came in for their sessions (different days of course!) and we had a great time. I love this hand-tinted image of Stephanie.

We really enjoyed our time with Nicollette during her session. She was up for anything and really liked dramatic imagery. We had fun playing with light and experimenting with some different techniques we’ve learned.

Here is a beautiful close-up of Amy DeSalvo from St. Charles East H.S. She was also a lot of fun to photograph. She has the most soulful, beautiful brown eyes. This image really captures that.

Oh, and mark your calendar for our big anniversary bash on September 10! Stop in anytime between 5 – 8 for drinks & food… It’s hard to believe we’ve been in this studio since 2005!

We hung out with Tyler a few weeks ago, creating some really cool images. He’s into theater and as a Thespian myself, we had a great time with some dramatic lighting and unique poses. Here’s a fun one that we did during a jaunt around town.

We photographed Amber a few weeks ago (GOSH, I need to catch up on my blogging!). She was so much fun! We had a great time… always do with fellow Cubs fans! LOL. Her images look beyond amazing and we look forward to seeing her again soon to deliver her final artwork to her and her family.

We had the opportunity to photograph Anastasia from Sycamore H.S. the other day. She loves the outdoors, but it was raining the day of her session…. We created some really fun and uniQue indoor images with soft and beautiful studio lighting. Toward the end of her session, the weather cleared up and we headed to the great outdoors! Megan came in for her session last week and we had such fun! We went to her house to create some portraits of her in her awesome backyard, too. Here is an image from her session. This one was taken in our studio. Look at how expressive her eyes are!

We had so much fun with Mary Kate during her session… She had great music on her iPod. Jammin’ to Ben Harper was a trip. I’ll have to play some Blue October for her when she comes back to see her slideshow and order her portraits.
